Can you recommend a top down shade without a cord being shown from the top down shade? I don't need the bottom to go up - just the top down.

Standard top down bottom up window shades offer multiple cords. One cord on each side of the shade, one to operate the top down feature and the other to raise the shades in the traditional manner.

The top down bottom up or duofold upgrade gives the shades a unique advantage. By lowering the top portion of the blinds, light is allowed to enter the room while still providing privacy.

Adding the cordless option removes the lift cords from the shades and makes the window shade operate without pulling a cord. Simply grasp the bottom rail of the blinds and lift to raise the window shades. To lower them from the top down grasp the top of the window shades and pull down. This cordless option is perfect for child safety.

There are some drawbacks however to the cordless option. For taller windows or for those of us who are not so tall, reaching the top of the window shades to lower them or to raise the shades to the entire height of the windows can be a challenge. This can be overcome with the use of a pole or a step stool or maybe just a tall friend.

The blind will come with two sets of cords, one set of cords you will bring to the center of the blind to release the lock and bring the blind down to cover the opening, if you would like the blind to stack a the bottom you will use the opposite set of cords and bring them to the center of the blind to stack the blind at the bottom of the opening. If you would like the blind to stack at the top of the opening you will bring the cords to the center of the blind to unlock and pull the blind up and pull the cords to the outside of the blind to lock.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days after we receive the items (Guaranteed to Love fee is not refundable).
