Cordless Contemporary Woven Wood Shades

I installed these shades on the windows of an enclosed porch. They look beautiful and really help reduce the heat, as it gets a lot of sun. They were easy to install using only a screwdriver and a portable drill. I notice that these shades produce a "one-way glass" effect. By that I mean I can see outside when sitting on the porch, but nobody can easily see in from the outside. I don't know if that is by design, but I do like it.
