I have these beautiful black windows in my home and wanted to keep my window treatments to a minimum. I also wanted privacy at the bottom of the window and light coming through the top. These top down bottom up shades were the perfect solution. I keep them pulled down from the top, but if I have guests they can easily pull them all the way up. If I want fresh air, i just raise them like a regular shade. I chose a light grey color and they ended up matching my trip nicely. If I had to suggest one improvement, I would like them to figure out how to make them cordless. I had top down bottom up cellular shades in a different house years ago and they operated simply with the top and bottom rails. These cords are not bad, but they would look much better without the cords hanging down. I would also encourage people to make sure they have enough depth in the window to accomodate the mounting bracket. I had originally ordered 5 shades but ended up cancelling 2 of them because I realized the depth of the window would not have worked with the mounting bracket. The people at Blinds Chalet were very helpful with my cancellation. Fortunately, I caught it very early in the process. I did all of the measuring and installing myself. It was very easy. The mounting bracket was the easiest I've ever installed. Whoever came up with the bolt and wing nut install - brilliant!!!

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the window coverings and wish to return them, please notify us within 30 days of receiving the order. Our customer care department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address for the return. Please note, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and shipping labels are not provided. Refunds will be processed within 2-3 business days after we receive the items (Guaranteed to Love fee is not refundable).
